How massively rising e-commerce in the world.
Everyone knows about ecommerce and rise of ecommerce is massive. Since 2020 to 2025 e-commerce is rising by almost 50% according to Google records. So now you can imagine how crazily shifting businesses from physical to online. In Nepal also growing online businesses slowly. There are so many e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, woocommerce, and many more. Among of them my favorite is Amazon because Amazon is search engine like Google where people search things to buy.
Amazon has two sides:
1, Amazon for buy
2, Amazon seller central
We can become both either buyer or seller. To become a buyer is easy you can just sign up with email address and contact info then use it but to become a seller is quite complicated because Amazon require very strong and genuine documents. And if you are trying to become a seller on Amazon from Nepal then this is more complicated because Amazon don’t accept Nepal’s bank account. Sell on Amazon is quite complicated for beginner, without knowledge is even more complicated.

As a seller on Amazon you can sell in 2 different service model like:
1, FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon)
In FBA everything will handle by Amazon. Pick, pack and delivery when get order from customer and you just focus on sourcing and sell the product but instead you have to pay minimum amount of charge.
2, FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant)
In this model you’ll handle all pack, pick, delivery, return everything and you just using Amazon platform for generate sells. In FBM you’ll get more profit margin compare to FBA.

Different business model on Amazon
1, Wholesale
In this model you sell other’s products, brands. You buy products in bulk with supplier and sell it in retail price on Amazon. It means you are like a broker who is selling product for minimum profit margin.
2, Private label
If you’re going for long run race in business then this is perfect for you. Because you’re creating your own product that high demand and low competition in market. And building a brand that make your existence too.
3,Online arbitrage
This model is very beginner friendly business model, how? You just go to local mart (Walmart) grab a product that on sale and sell it on Amazon in high price. This is easy to do and budget friendly.
